Canon IR ADC C2020 E000025-0330

Hi,


This copier make me crazy. Replace the toner feed assembly and all drums for news. Later sow me error E020-1060. Apply the technnical publication TP13455.pdf (http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/at...6&d=1387646470) and continues with the same error. Replace the old drum and shows me another error E025-0330. I do not know what else to do. Who has an idea how to solve these problems?

Ok ,cleaning laser is primary but also clean patch sensor.See this e020-1060 http://s12.postimg.org/tfs74lrgd/E020_1060.jpg

I hate this model, truly hate, more the the Canon 3100

I agree the next move it to clean the ATR sensors, you have to open side door downward, flip the ATR sensor down, its just underneath the ITB, manually slide the shutter right sideways, I used a light blower last time to do this.

Then check the cabling from the ATR sensor and then change the ATR sensor if still no joy.

Man I do wish you the best of luck, I am supporting 10 of these turds and I am actively trying to get them gone.

e025-330 is detection of short circuit with the black toner motor.
- toner feed assy
- Dcon
- Perform a clear on the err just for schnitz and giggles
- Solution was to replace the blue 15 pin intermediate connector VS1-8412-015 this was found by using a meter and the Checker Board PCB FY9-4050-000 to isolate the shorted connector.

I was replace the toner feed assembly then do some tests and it worked fine! Changing all drums new ones, showed me the E020-1060. Replace the old drums and began to give the E020-0330 and stick with that error with both new and old drums. Excuse my English, I'm Venezuelan. Unfortunately, the technicians are very bad here. if the toner feed has been replaced and you're getting an e020 I'd pull the laser out and clean that sucker. The builtin cleaning wand really does a poor job cleaning them.

Try clearing the error, if nothing then defective toner feed assy or dcon

service mode > copier > function > clear > highlight err and press ok, reboot
dcon is the dc-controller.

Thanks, I try tomorrow clean ATR sensor and desarmy again a toner feed assembly, check the patch sensor ana try clear the error for test.

Greetings friends. Perform a test turning the equipment without toners or drums to see if was still showing E025-0330 error and the computer boots without problems. The error occurs when installing the toner and drum BK. I will disassemble the toner feed assembly again and again to install it. Note that the sensor has a broken contact but I doubt that is the problem. No you think.

e025-330 Detection of short-circuit with Toner Container Motor (Bk) GND.
"A short circuit (sometimes abbreviated to short or s/c) is an electrical circuit that allows a current to travel along an unintended path, often where essentially no (or a very low) electrical impedance is encountered"

your toner feed motor, hopper motor or dcon will cause this code. If a motor is shorted out then chances are it'll never come back from it. If it drags on long enough it can damage your dcon

Error :
Symptom was E025-0330 which points to a short in the black toner container motor, dealer replaced Black toner hopper and the DC Controller and the issue was still present.

Workaround :
