E025 is usually the toner hopper or related part. Check to see if the customer put a GPR-30 bottle in the machine by mistake somehow...I don't know if you can fit it in there where they are bigger bottles, but I know the reverse is possible, I have had people put GPR-31 toner into a C5051 and it causes E025.
What is usually done in this case ? I have a 5030 that has a couple in the history. E025-0320 6/13 and E025-0220 One is for yellow and the other magenta. So far customer acts like it never happened? Looking at cutting some wire ties on the Drum driver PCB. I seen the tech pub about the dev drum drive couplings. But that referances E020 error codes. Tech Pub TP11 163b.pdf

I ended up changing the Toner hopper motor. There is a white gear with a pin going through it that breaks, it's common especially if a non genuine toner is installed.

check/cut wire ties to toner door sensors for all colors
try re-seating all the connections on the Drum Driver PCB and the Relay PCB

My problem is same as you , the k set on drive at the rear of the machine . There is a white gear with a pin is broken.
I am for sure prepared for this. I don't want to throw anyone into left field but my Machine since July has not popped a code back for 6 months. They don't use the machine a whole lot though. only 16k since then.
Hi Godying + Alex 1. A customer of mine called this morning with an error 25-0410 after just having changed 2 toners. I am assuming it is same problem you guys had with toner hopper drive set. Did you order whole set
which i see in manual as FM3-5979 or just gear FU8-0137 Motor appears to be FK2-7895 unless new part #s. Also is it possible to crazy glue gear temporarily until part(s) come in.
I assume it is also good idea to check toners installed to check for authentic OEM or see if problem on cartridge. Your help and advisce i appreciated.

u cant' glue a drive gear krazy glue "sucks"
but the best glue is Loctite Super Glue ULTRAGEL CONTROL (must be the gel) not the Liquid
Thanks teckat. Is this available in most hardware stores or CVS/RITE-AID etc. I mentioned crzy glue cause i remembered using on main drive motor gear on old Sharp machines when they cracked and it worked. Frank

U may find it there, or local hardware store or at Home Depot, Lowes,Amazon.
Note:
All depends on structure makeup of plastic part_glue may even melt plastic part when applied.
Always good to test on small area if possible.

I had a similar problem not too long ago and was able to do a field repair with some 2 part epoxy. I put the pin and broken gear in place and filled the inside of the gear (kind of like a cup with the broken pin holder in the middle) with the mixed epoxy>waited 20 min for it to set up and put it back together. It was the end of the day so I told the customer not to turn it on until the morning. It's been working ever since and probably stronger than new.
