Having a deep look at the compatibiliti-list ;-)

The 32 bit Vista driver is not my cup of tea. Then I'd rather find something where I could add a ppd file that is known to work. (at a printserver or something similar if needed ....)


Seems that the RIP is running on some sort of linux (at least the filesystem is "ext2" a giveaway from the info in the PDF file)

And max is SRA3 (320x450mm) ;-)

I can do a regular copy onto 305x457 (12"x18") doesn't look as nice as a direct print though ;-)

I'm betting on C1 v2 ;-)

I'll be around at about 3:00 AM US eastern (thanks to game 3 of the NBA finals )

Well that didn't work out well.

comes up ...

when actually installing them the display that shows the printer also display a printer not looking like the iRC 3200 / CLC 3200 / imagepress C1 or the 3220

Calls for another thread about drivers as simple as that.

pcl drivers is fine picking 12x18" paper PS drivers not so willing yet.

Will, check when I'm close to the copier Monday morning but from memory 3220 selection at fiery.

meanwhile I will check another combo between workstation command from fiery and driver, as it seems the best might not be to pick the latest workstation command, but an earlier version that spins better with the given version of the fiery RIP software (also monday morning 😉 )
