    ir 6075i blank copies

I have got an IR6075I that is giving blank copies
there is charge and transfer readings i also did a black copy and stopped machine and took out dev unit and the drum is black. so it points to transfer but there is voltage on transfer and if transfer was not working surely i would get some toner on the paper but its completely blank.
    does anyone have any ideas.
    thanks
    David

Transfer corona isn't in right or the block at the rear is broken. It aligns with two HV springs at the inside of the machine.

oh so it's an advance, the etb isn't camming up. If you trip the interlock do you see it cam up when you do a copy? Any e017's in the error history?

not necessarily, if anything you'd get a e017 but the guide after the etb is spring loaded and only the part under the drum cams up and down, registration is pushing it far enough that it clears the timing intervals. Check the two sensors for etb up and etb HP. PS 55 is the engage sensor, ps56 is the disengage, M19 duplex feed left motor is responsible for camming and m43 drives the belt, brush roller and waste toner auger screw. You're halfway there.

yes the etb is camming up, but still making blank copies i just dont know why when i stop the copy run and take out dev unit the drumm is covered in toner but nothing on page not a spot of toner it just doesnt make sense

                    Get a new ETB assembly.
I have seem a couple cause copy quality problems, and I seem to recall some guy saying he solved a blank copy issue by replacing one

Do you mean the whole assembly as we have replaced the belt and still get blank copies

Yes sir.I meant the whole thing
                          Could be transfer roller.
We suspect that small circuit board causes issues

if you trip the interlock for the front door to make it think it's closed. Can you see if the ETB came up against the drum or not?

I have had to clean the crusty grease from the cam lobes on a couple of these for E17 errors. Clean them and apply new grease. As for the blanks....VL and VD in spec???????? Turn off potential control and see if makes any difference
