if you trip the interlock for the front door to make it think it's closed. Can you see if the ETB came up against the drum or not?

Yes the etb does go up, the thing thats getting me is when you look at the drum there is toner on it but when the copy comes out its totally blank and normally if transfer is not working the is some toner on the paper. this has really got me i have the machine at the canon agents and they cant seem to find the problem either its been there 2 weeks already.i have replaced the pcb1 and that solved the one problem as the control panel was dead but now this blank copy its driving me crazy.
