ir 3235 toner bottle not turning

I had one ir 3235 having problem that toner bottle is not turning did any one of you facing this problem before?? is it dc motor or bushing (item no 25)

are u getting any messages for (Replace Toner Cartridge or Add Toner)



Check the two Cam Bottle Slides for cracks, replace if needed FC8-1140-000 / FC8-1144-000.

Correct Toner Bottle inserted? 25 & 26 Bottles have different 'plugs'.
When Toner Lever is pulled down does it lock the Bottle in firmly?

Toner level in Dev Unit low?
Toner level in Hopper Unit low? Remove Hopper Cover (item 2 in your PDF attach) & check.
Clean/replace Sensors in both Hopper & Dev Units.

i can hear the motor turning but the bottle is not turning..i need to pull out and put in few time only that the bottle is turning

Yes it's all to do with those cams/gears above.

What I have found is if you open the toner door & cheat the sensor you can watch & see if the toner bottle rotates, while you can hear the motor run pull the bottle towards the front you'll find it will start to rotate.

You can run the toner rotation motor in service mode, it's motor number 5 ideal for testing.
