do u have the PS Printer Kit installed
For PS printing, the optional Color PS Printer Kit must be installed.

For Color imageRUNNER C5185/C4580/C4080, the optional Color UFR II/PCL Printer Kit
must be installed before installing the optional PS Kit.

    Under
    Additional Functions>Common Settings>Draw Eligibility For APS/ADS>
Other choose Bypass to enable for printing.

    Also>Under Additional Fuctions>Common Settings>Draw Eligibility For APS/ADS>Printer see if a Bypass option is/now available.

        ---------

Delete the PS driver/ then download again / make sure 5180 Printer description shows correct in driver properties

On all documents? Probably not... Open the document and look in page options or something similar. I see this a lot with Word...Word tells it to print from a certain tray even if you tell it differently in driver. Application overrides driver...SEEN MANY TIMES

If get device status fails, then the driver crapped out.

so PS Driver defaults to the cassettes for Paper size selection on BYPASS

is this on all size selections using PS DRIVER

                PS DRIVER SETTINGS

                1. Go to the Start>Settings>Printer folder. Right click on the printer in question and choose Properties.
                2. Go to the Device Settings tab, then click "Form to Tray Assignment".

                3. In the Form to Tray Assignment window, choose Stack Bypass and highlight all the types of paper which you intend to use.
                4. Click OK.

is this the driver u are using

                Canon U.S.A. : Office Equipment : imagePASS-H1
