    CANON IR2270 ALWAYS JAMS

    Dear all ,
i have a canon ir2270 and its jams too much the Jam code is 0107 as i saw the figure they putted its jamin on PS13 (which means its the fixing sensor) but i wonder it looks ok .the paper always jams some time under the Drum ,and some times at the 2nd delivery tray .

is theirs any solution for this , i also tried to change the bypass door also the 2nd inner delivery and i changed the pick up feed unit for the 1st cassette and still the same problem always jams .

    thanks

    HI
If It jam in doble side mode....

I think the problem is the paper humidity....in a4r it'll work
...in a4 you should update firmware and adjust in service mode .... I am going to send you by mail when I can.

    All the best

      Hi

Check the registration sensor for a worn tip. I had one recently where replacement of the sensor flag (FL2-4520) resolved the problem.

      Regards,
      Charles

Or cut a piece of mylar/thin plastic & stick to Flag - quick & cheap.

Maybe replace Fixing Assy - Fixing Film grease may be gummy & not allowing the sleeve to rotate fast enough - check for E007 errors.

0107, bad ps13 - Can you trip it in service mode part check and verify functionality?
            worn reg sensor flag
Vertical path rollers are they grey or black?
there's a mod for the door that came out after this was released to get rid of that foam crap that some schmuck thought would be a good idea.

All I have in my own files for this code.

Also check if pre reg flag sticks. The other end rests against a rubber damper pad that gets old and sticky and can prevent paper from getting past the flag. There are a bunch of those on the guides on the door too that cause these problems.
