Canon IR2800 Technical info

hi,

just got a used canon IR2800. Display language is in Norwegian and no other languages available.

anyone knows how to fix this and whether there is a way to reset the entire machine for new passwords, settings, and configuration?

what service tech? u mean the local canon distributer? isn't there another way?
what about resetting the machine? is there a method for that?

you can check under tools if there is another language in machine.
if norwegian language is only language canon tech have to use SST and upload another language to your machine.

you can dump everything-but be prepared to set it back up

you can check via serial number what market is was meant for-if european market -english is the core language and by dumping evreything you'll get back to that

it is European. how can i Dump? is there tool for that?

more importantly cannot access the password. is there a way to reset that? or maybe a master password?

Language problem.

GO into service mode *28* Select Copier/Option/Body/Config. Use + and - keys to scroll through options until languages is displayed + and - to select language you want. press OK. Turn off main switch on machine and back on. Give that a try.

thx for above but the only language it shows is Norwegian.
again the more important challenge is resetting the Machine entirely. unfortunately no one is able to reply.

is there any instructions for step by step network setup (a thread, manual or something) as my driver is not self finding the Printer.
