IR 5000 to make it connected

Hi,
I have IR 5000. which is said as non connected machine.
I want to know which all parts do I need to make it connected?

DO I need Boot ROM?
DO I need Ethernet Card?
DO I need RIP board?

you need to install a network boot rom and a n.i.c., then you need to reflash machine with network system software. while your in download mode you may as well update nboot,language, and rui.

* you mean connected with LAN : yes, you need a ethernet card. & it make your scangear on.(scanner).
* you mean connected with printer LPT1 : you need to replace your BOOTROM with N series, & make your update system on harddisk. (not ethernet card required)

If I Just want to print via Network/LAN on IR 5000s than do I still need print board? or having Ethernet card is enough?

Is this also means, if I want to print on any IR5000 model via LAN I do not need print board ? or is there any series of IR 5000 which have to have print board in order to make it print ?
