Thanks for this. Board got delayed at couriers, so will try this when I return.

Wonder why Canon helpdesk didn't recommend this.

No problem.

Also can be bad firmware,bad connector connections....

Managed to fix this by removing re-seating main controller 2.

Thanks for the advice.

Hopefully Canon will let me return the board!

I'm hoping because I have email from their tech team telling me I need the part to clear #859 fault, they will let me return it.

They have in the past.

If you don't cut the tape on the part box, then generally they will take it back.
