canon ir5000i stuck!

why is it my ir5000i hangs? whn you copy from the feeder the copier automatically hangs and the same with manual scaning.. the display in the screen only shows "printing" and/or "scanning" and after some time the machione just shut off itself and the paper is only stuck before the registration roller? my technician, replaced the main con, format the hard disk and cleaned the memory, they also replaced the "reader" but still the problems reccur.. what do you think is the problem, no error was showing.. the copier only hangs..

John i would have a look in Service Mode to see if the Machine is giving an error but not displaying it. I haven't had this problem before but i have had situations where the Machine is not showing the error. So check your error codes for starters,
