A... .yea.... I replaced the salt sensor. I also put the new drums in the machine in the shop I'm sending out on Monday, they make the most amazing color copies from my shop machine. I still have a copier that pops codes. The canon tech is coming this week we'll see what it was.

Shop Techs found problem. Latch mechanism faulty causing incorrect sensor reading.

Thanks to all the techs that responded. Learned a lot from this problem.

Was it the actuator on the inside of the front door that engages the salt sensor?
