I have a customer that has a Canon IR C3380. She has installed OEM black toners several times and the machine keeps asking her to install black toner. I am not very familiar with this machine. I was hoping to get some ideas as what to check before I went out. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have seen where the Toner Cartridge Shutter does not open correctly due to the gears Binding when the
Cartridge is installed. Also seen the tube that carries the toner to the drum unit get packed up and cause
a similar issue. Clean both area might help. -

What is the exact message, does it say insert black toner, or toner empty?Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!
