    E061-0003 ADV C7065

I know this has been covered before, but any thoughts other that firmware?
185K total pages, no previous history in error log. Cleaned main charge, problem still existed. Turned off PRO-CON, worked great, excellent image. Turned on PRO-CON and remained functional...for 300 pages or so, probably until machine went into power save again and required another process control check.
Have been told that 75% of the time it is the potential control board. But could a drum be suspect even with such a low count? 3 years since purchase, machine has issues...

A bad primary corona assembly will give e061 also.
What is the count on black drum ? Copier > counter > LF -bk
Did you have it out of the machine for any length of time?
Yes drum, possibly, but not likely

Drum was not out of machine for more than a minute and was protected. Main charge was inspected and cleaned, no apparent problems, makes a good image. Have not checked pre-exposure lamps yet.
      Drum life under DCONT-K = 3632734
Drum life under COUNTER > MISC = 4315 (2%), it is obvious that someone reset this counter prior to our inspection. I don't believe that resetting this would alter voltages? Correct me if I'm wrong. Physical inspection of drum reveals some staining of surface, more towards rear side of drum. Again, image looks good when PO-CNT is turned off.

Not sure what one would see to indicate the presence of an ecode .
I solved one by replacing the potential control. Another 2 by replacing the primary assembly, and I think one by replacing the primary grid and wire

Everyone I know has solved theirs by replacing Primary charge unit.

          FYI
Drum life check is COUNTER> LF
          OR COUNTER> DURABLE1 > D-UNIT-K

If DCP is done when a drum is replaced both will be reset to zero.
Durable 1 can be manually reset

DPOT> D-CONT-K is the display of Black drum charging time.
There is nothing under MISC relating to drums

Thought I'd update, system software upgrade and replaced main charge unit together. Problem seems to be eliminated (E061-0003), although has not been run much due to cyan starter dumping from DV unit, need to check the swing arm bushings and release arm for wear/damage (once the balance due is paid...).
            Thanks to all for suggestions.
