7095 Toner - Compatible or OEM

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with compatible toner for the Canon 7095. I have never used it on any of my other machines (6570, 3200, 5185, 3380), but I noticed on eBay that for the 7095 there are a lot of the compatible toners available and the prices are significantly less than the OEM. If you have any experience with compatible toner for the 7095, I would be glad to hear from you. I do not have a service contract so I do all my own repairs and get most of my toner from eBay. Thanks for your help.

You get what you pay for... Cleaner blades wear prematurely, drum life decreases...over $1200 for a drum. Waste fills up quicker, poor transfer, lower toner yield, poor half tones,transfer/sep corona wire contamination(..occasional blank area across print,0B00 jams from poor separation..all after 150k on wires)..the list goes on... Use OEM toner and the machine will treat you better. I proved this to a customer. They ran same job every week. Got over twice the yield using OEM toner. Better solids, grays, less jams

I did not like what I received for compatible toner. Finally dumped the toner from the developer and started all over with OEM.

Thank you to everyone for your responses about this. I really appreciate Canuck's detailed explanation of the dangers of compatible toners. I really like copytech and the excellent responses from all of you. Keep up the good work. I will continue avoiding compatible toners.

Some compatible toners are good in first sight (good quality) but it will break soon developer gears.
I changed 2 developer unit in 2 months only from non OEM toner.
Now you decide if its worthy for you to buy a developer unit every 150k or buy oem toner and change developer unit after 1500k.
Also soon you will break drum cleaning section gears and they're really hard to find on Ebay
              Its up to you...
