[Misc] IR2520 Fixing Film Replacement

I need to replace a fixing film ass'y on this model, but the service manual only shows how to remove the fuser unit but not how to disassemble it to replace the film unit etc!? I'd like to have guidance of how to strip this unit before I start to take it apart!

Do you guys replace the film or simply fit the complete fuser unit?

I replace just the film sleeve, katun ones, pressure roller and bushings if necessary and works fine.

Those Katun films don't last 5 minutes, cheap yes, but reliable NO!
I only use them on the IR3300 series & only because Canon no longer supply the fixing film ass'y.

i tried to use the ir2016 film but the machine gave me e0002 i wonder if it works with you the film ir2016 on ir2520,thanks for the help give me your feed back how it work with u

film ir 2016 not working on ir 2520.. their compatibility as follows:

IR2520,2525,2530;
IR2016/2018/2020/2022/2025/2030/2116/2120/2318/2320/2420

I am doing that every week,because fixing unit is very expensive,and replacing fixing film is very simple and price of part is too low,you dont need any guide...just dissasembly part per part and assembly again you cant broke anything trust me its very simple...
