Canon IR C2620 - Can i print with Heavy stock from PC?

Hi Guys,

The problem i have is i'm trying to print on heavy stock only 160 gsm. If i use the copy button on the machine itself i can select heavy1 or heavy2 but looked all over the print options on my pc and for the life on me can't find an option to select heavy stock.

Can it be done?

Yes you can feed heavy stock but only through the bypass. When you load the paper in the bypass make sure you tell the copier what weight you have loaded, if not you will have print quality issues etc.

(17 lb bond to 110 lb index (64 to 209 g/m2))

Stack Bypass
(17 lb bond to 140 lb index (64 to 253 g/m2))

Paper Deck
(optional) (17 to 110 lb index (64 to 209 g/m2)

Heavy 1 *3 = use in all locations
*3= Heavy 1 paper is from 28 lb bond to 110 lb index (106 to 209 g/m2).

Heavy 2=*4= bypass & deck only
*4= Heavy 2 paper is from 80 lb cover to 140 lb index (210 to 253 g/m2).

Recycled *2 = use in all locations
*2 = Recycled paper is from 17 to 20 lb bond (64 to 80 g/m2).

Tracing Paper *5 = bypass only>one sheet at a time

Glossy Paper *6 = bypass only
*6 = Glossy paper is from 60 to 110 lb index (157 to 209 g/m2).

Transparency *7 = draw & bypass only
*7 Use only LTR transparencies made especially for this machine
