    [CQ] Canon Adv C5035

    Hi guys,
Seems to have a density issues even after change of drum and developer unit.
The colors can't seems to get solid, esp on color shading. Pls see attached.
Prints of full color will result in patches of white (powdery pattern) on solid colors.
    Steps done:
    1. change of original drum and developer unit.

Have i missed out any steps or did i replace the wrong parts?
Could it be the ITB belt and transfer cleaner?
    Any settings to be done?

Thank you and hope to hear from you guys soon!

There is a new style ITB belt and an improvement roller kit for it. I tried to look the part number up for the improvement kit but was unsuccessful. Check the fuser also and Secondary transfer roller. I would try the roller kit for the ITB and new style ITB. Maybe someone else has the part number. It has instructions and is not too hard to put in.

First>Check and re_enter the door specification to correct any settings and run auto gradation again.

Try changing service mode COPIER > ADJUST > HV-TR > 2TR-N1 to -20 and 2TR-N2 to -30 for the white spot issue.

Seems that the ITB unit was the issue. Changed the ITB and it works.
The old itb transfer belt seems a little loose, is there a way to "tighten" it?

Thanks everyone who helped in this issue! Cheers!

Good morning everyone. I may be a little late on this one. I do remember an issue on this line with it having to be 100% level or the belt will "creep" forward or backward depending. The improvement kit along with the machine being level was a permanent fix. There is a Tech Bulletin to show issues, part numbers, and install instructions for this. Unfortunately I had to find out the hard way and blazed thru 2 IBT assy's in 3 months.
