IRC-4080 Copy quality

Hi to all,

Have e an copy quality issue when printing and coping, (see attachment.)

If you look closely at the bottom part of the document you will see a light background magenta haze.

Happens mostly on the lower part and is magenta only...drums are 50% and all toners are genuine.

some times it goes away, but always comes back again after a few copies.

Any help much appreciated,

hello Jose ,it looks like defective Magenta Drum leaking toner , take it out ,vacuum & clean IBT , Cleaning Blade then put new Magenta drum to that machine ,I think it will be fix .

Yes that's what i am afraid off, already removed the drum from the unit and vacuum cleaned inside the unit, but problem comes back.

I guess i will have to order a new drum unit.. to bad, only has 50% of use.

Yes , some time I had problem like you have. Only put new drum in there ( after clean the IBT & VACCUM The Machine ) ... Good luck.

Remove the drum unit and make polish for the drum also cleaning the primary roller woth alcohol,and vacum all the toner rest,after that turn bk the drum to the machine and the remove the toner bottle ,and make around 20 copies full meganta color try test 5 on service mode after that u will get bk the drum in a great condition
