    magenta printing black

    Hi guys
i am having troubles with Epson Wf-6590. 3 machines at different locations and customers. 1 week intervals all made the same problems. After printhead cleaning its ok. All nozzles open. But after waiting 1 night or weekend forexample colors contaminate (İ dont know if its the right word to describe) to each other. Magenta is full black and some cyan contaminate to yellow and a huge gap in the bk nozzles. All machines using oem ink.
İ will be grateful if somebody can help🙏

Ink mixing can happen but is usually fixed with a specific clean. Which cleaning protocols did you run? Based on what i can tell you probably have in MX mode:

      CL0
      CL1
      CL2
      CL3
      Strong CL

      Which have you ran?

Edit: You will 100% need to replace the print head if it reoccurs within 2-3 weeks. If you call Epson they will tell you to the same.

i always first make gentle cleaning and second strong cl if its not ok i also try cleaning solution filled cartridges and print full covered pages to suck it and if anyone didnt work manually dissamble the printhead and syringe warm cleaning solution and use ultrasonic cleaner for parts.

Had something very similar on an ET-8700, and the only solution we could do to troubleshoot was starting with the Print Head. Customer ended up just using it for scanning and used a different printer instead.

There is notes about this problem :
            - "incorrect setting between print head and Ink tube connector (Head joint part) of Ink supply Assy" -> "please make sure that the Ink tube connector (Head joint part) is correctly placed inside hole of the print head, then hold this location with hand and tighten the screw"
            - "Oleic acid in the BK ink may cause the head adhesive to swell and block the ink flow path" -> replace with the new imroved printhead

But IMO it the cap unit (ink system assy) fault, it's a maintenance part on some models
