    Epson WorkForce DS-60000 Disassembly

    Hello,

    I am repairing an Epson Workforce DS-60000 scanner and am encountering an issue with the disassembly of the ADF. It seems there might be hidden tabs somewhere preventing me from removing the top. There is a post about this exact issue from 6 years ago by user axyun, but no replies. I figured I should make a new thread rather than zombie bump that old one.

    Does anyone have experience in repairing this unit? Any tips wold be greatly appreciated! Glad to be on this forum, looks like a valuable collection of resources and I hope to one day contribute.

      Sadly, axyun hasn't been here since 7/31/2020. I hope everything is all right with him.

      My suggestion is to post into his thread and see if he responds (he'll get an automation email to threads he's subscribed to).

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
