[Error Code] Bizhub 600 Code C-2401

Hello to All,

I have a Bizhub 600 with a code of C-2401. I changed the ECL lamp corona assembly with another machine but same code. Also bought new PRCB & checked that too. Same code.

Also Trouble Reset done by pressing Utility while powering on the Machine.

I am unable to access Service mode by going with Stop 00 Stop 01. IS there any other way to access service mode also ?

Any solution for the code C-2401

Check the end-block connector on the drum cradle and the frame side. The connector on the frame side tends to crack.

The is a bulletin concerning the code.

PROBABLE CAUSES:

1. C-2401 normally indicates a failed erase lamp, although it is caused, in this case, by a bind in the drum carriage.
Remove and inspect the drum carriage assembly. Run the Toner Cartridge Set mode as well as the Developing unit/Drum.

2. Open ICP6 on the PRCB.
Check for broken or shorted wires in Tray 3 area and repair as necessary. Replace the PRCB (p/n 57AA -902 1J). After replacing the PRCB, go to the Service Mode and set softswitch 32, bit 1 to "0" (OFF). Then re-flash the firmware and, after restarting the machine, set softswitch 32, bit 1 to "1" (ON).

Had this recently. Replacing the HV Unit fixed it in my case. I found the answer on another thread on this forum but can't find it now.

If you dont mind please tell me the Flashing procedure & required files. I changed the Sw 32 to Off but dont know about flashing it.

Try leaving the front doors open when you start the machine and then accessing service mode.

I am on the service mode. But how can i flash the firmware ?

Can the Voltage supply cause this problem of C-2401 ?
The problem of C-2401 came in the morning with a warming problem. The machine said "Now warming up " & never being warmed even after 20 minutes. I opened the Drum assembly & inserted again & c-2401 started coming.

Did you change the consumables like the drum blade and developer? is the machine dumping toner.
Firmware is not going to fix this.

No, Nothing changed like drum, cleaning blade or developer. I have a Di-5510 machine also in my shop. I tried with that machine Corona assembly ( E L Lamp) on bizhub 600 but it still says same error c-2401 .
I spent money already on buying a new PRCB board from another city but still same problem.

I think this might help you to get new solution that :

I sent "Old board" to dealer in another city & he confirmed that " I tried this board on new Bizhub600 & it given same code on new machine too so the board is having a fault so buy a new one" So, he sent me a working fresh board from there but still same problem on my machine with new board.

Any Idea ?

HV is the high voltage power supply, not the DC power supply. It supplies high voltage to the drum, dev, coronas.....etc. etc
