7272 "Please wait" dimly lit screen

replaced the operation panel complete unit, showed that there was a hrad drive issue. Some other faults arose as each one was rectified. ---- life as a copier tech... knew i should have done my school work!

7272 -- power on, relay comes on, screen very dark, no motors turning, just says "please wait" can hardly see the words on the screen. power save light on. When first turn on power timer light comes on for very short time then goes off then power save light stays on.

Have tried, Main board, print control board, scan board, nvram

Any help greatly appreciated.

Will the machine take firmware? Also the IMCB can cause this.

This might sound silly. If you have any IP 511A installed remove it from the copier and try switching on the machine. OR secondly swop the control panel assy
