    konica c35 jams when duplexing

customer complained of jamming running 2 sided copies. i took a new ream of paper with me and my paper ran fine where hers jammed every 2 copies. you could feel the moisture in paper. went out again today and her paper is fine but still jams only when duplexing. i find a paper all smashed up between fuser and plate that lays on top of it and one folded up in fuser like a accordion. i put in another fuser and have same results. rollers are clean and look fine. not familiar with this machine. thanks for any ideas

These crappy little machines will jam if the paper is poor or damp, especially on duplex. A simple test is if on single side the print comes out curled then the paper is damp.

Fitting a NEW fuser might help, fitting a used one doesn't really help.

This is a common problem with these machines. There is a solenoid under the transfer bed section which has a small rubber piece under the actuator arm. Remove this rubber piece as it becomes soft and sticky, this will help a lot. There are various KM TADs for this problem.
