    [Misc] ic304 with c6501

    Hi,
    We are looking to buy Konica IC304. Will it support fs521,sd506 and newer PF. It has ver 2.1 on the IC304. Or will we need to get a IC304 PLUS. Thanks for any help

      Maybe have to ask question a different way. If i have a Konica c6501 with IC-304 with ver 2.1 will it support a fs521,sd506 or do i have to have a IC-304 PLUS ? Thanks in advance for help answering this question.

          it works just fine with the entire yacht-worth accessories you can attach.
          We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

              Hi,
              IC-304 is compatible with that machine configuration.

                  Thanks Mick for the information to confirm my findings. Matter if fact just yesterday i found the Konica firmware list for Creo IC-304. Looks like the same software for the IC304 and IC304 PLUS. Just the Plus has bigger hard drives and faster processor. So i think we will be able to setup the IC-304 with the Konica c6501. What messed us up was the Rip we got was advertised as a IC-304 PLUS but when we got it it was just a IC-304 with ver 2.1. We were not sure the if the IC-304 would suport fs521.sd506 and pf. So thanks again for your help. Been doing copiers and printers for 43 years (IBM,Kodak,Danka ) and last 18 years as independent tech for print shop. It can be tough some times when you need information and can't access Konica databases.
