BizHub C451 with two problems

Howdy!
I have a BizHub C451 with two problems:
1) service mode is password protected (CE password) and is password is unknown.
2) displays "the following functions cannot be used because the scanner is not available: copy/scan/fax"


I think I need a rewrite or a reset of NVRAM.

what password are you trying?
last time this happened to me i had to call in and they gave me a recovery procedure.

... nobody knows damn password ... the former owner it's just a middleman for these machines and I bought her "as is" from him.

we shorten our service password to half of what it normally is. I've seen that on quite a few machines that have been serviced by other vendors also.

try all ..."usual" and "normal" pass... 1234, 4321, 12345678, 87654321, and so on...
