    [Jamming] C224e Jams J99-01

I'm having an issue with j99-01 on the biz hub c224e. it only jams on a long run from tray 2 on a4. Ive changed the vertical transport clutch on the rollers directly above tray 2 and checked all the usual seniors etc, the firmware is the latest release but still having issues. Has anyone else had such a thing?

Lots of bulletins on the Konica Minolta site relating to that particular jam code.

Change soft switch 145 to hex 02 try that first.
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I've only seen 2 tech bulletins one saying there's a fix in g20-e4 firmware (currently on version g20-k8) and the other about paper feed from a PC feed unit. Am i missing something?

I will try the soft switch setting when I'm in the office next.

Do you know what the setting does?

J99-01 is a paper size error/media miss mach error (even when it isn't) if you change the soft swich (I think it is the default now on the latest function firmware) the machine will ignore the miss match and carry on printing without jamming. I think there are about 3 bulletins just on this, mainly talking about the bypass but it has fixed a machine for me doing it from tray 3.

I have also had a faulty Fsr drive assy cause this but go for the easy option first.

This helps, especially the drive roller in the feed unit.
