We have had 2 fuser pressure rollers shear off on the front side of the machine. It also takes out the lamp. Has anyone else seen this? We have just rebuilding and they seem to work fine. Since this was the second one in a couple months I was just checking with everyone else. This has happend on 2 seperat c1060's. Both machines had less than 300k on them.

Re: KM c1060 fuser issue.
weird, for it to snap like that with OEM parts something has to be askew or uneven pressure?
i searched the knowledge base on SSD and it has not been reported as a common issue. We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though...Comment

Re: KM c1060 fuser issue.
I looked as well. The machines are level. They both were running fine up until they break. No error codes. Just jams and says to remove paper. We have a rep coming in this month so I'll start a ticket and have him look at it before rebuild.Comment

Had the same at 200k as you can see and its more common than you think.
Check my thread to make sure you didn't get screwed like me.
A50U740112 new Lwr fuser part number to "cough cough", "improve durability.." as if 1,200k wasn't enough.
What a bunch of bullshit.I don't like the new copier I just bought. It says "put face down" but every time I do it, it blinds my eyes.Comment

Re: KM c1060 fuser issue.
Hi,
Yes this is a known issue.
Lower roller has been modified to "improve durability".
All I can advise is to contact your KM support centre when you get this issue. A lot of KM distributers are reporting this failure with the original roller.
