    1050 Scanner Windows 7

    Hi,

We have 2 printers (6500 and 1050). Since we've updated from Windows XP to Windows 7, we can no longer scan with our 1050. Both our printers have the same config and the 6500 works just fine. Also, i can still scan on a Windows XP computer.

Here's what i suspect. The 1050 is outdated and using an old SMB version (Win 7 being 2-3). Is that a known issue? Would the latest firmware fix the problem?

    Thank you

    Is this a domain environment?
Sometimes you need the domainname for the user name. Ie: domain/username.
Also the shared folder needs that user listed for read/write in permissions.
The "everyone" user does not work for me ever sadly.
Good luck. Also konica has an smb setup guide for win7 and others. Its on their logon site.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Yes it is domain environment. But it works just fine if i send it to a Windows XP computer (also in the domain).

As for the user, it's everone full. But our 6500 can send in scans to that computer no problem.

That's why i don't see it as a config issue but rather a SMB version
