When replacing fuser belt, the two rollers inside are covered with some sticky material, it is probably the special KM grease. So the question is should I clean them before putting the new one, and what cleaning material should I use. Thank you!

Re: C6000L fuser roller cleaning
I clean the rolls up each time I replace the fuser belt. I use alcohol. May dry the rolls a little but cuts through the grease and I haven't had one dry out. -

Re: C6000L fuser roller cleaning
You sure you're using the right belt?
Is the belt straight side to side?Even the slightest deviation can cause it to flip.
Also does this thing have a lot number and if so is it placed in the right direction?I don't like the new copier I just bought. It says "put face down" but every time I do it, it blinds my eyes.Comment
