Bizhub 36 hdd full error

machine is getting an hdd full error, reformatting hdd worked before but will not work anymore. did firmware about six months ago to fix other quirky problems. outside of replacing the hdd, any suggestions? thank you.

Is this happening when you are scanning?? What are the settings?

Check scan settings, are they scanning with "compact PDF"?? Set it to PDF.

Why not try enabling hdd overwrite mode 1.
It will write 0x00 over the scanned data freeing up the space to be used again.
It will erase the addressbook initially so back up all the settings first.

Check scan settings, are they scanning with "compact PDF"?? Set it to PDF.

I had the exact same service call I tried formatting the hdd, updating firmware etc and the suggested fix from Konica was exactly that which was switching to PDF (not compact) then setting it as default settings.

There is a special firmware fix out there for this same problem.
Not sure of the ver.
