I'm getting random lines. Not all the time. bw and color and single color. Attaching bw samples. I think it's the laser. Not real familiar with this box. Need another opinion.

yup try resating them/it , there is however ram built on the board that goes bad too.

I just had a similar issue on a c652ds, only it was very thin white lines. Lucky me, the first thing I tried fixed it. I powered the copier OFF, and then just re-seated the interface cable (the large cable that runs from the optics, down to the right side rear corner....the BIG connector). It wasn't loose either, must have just been a poor connection. Also, as I powered the copier ON, I did a trouble reset (you know, hold the Utility/Counter button down).
