    LU -301

    Hi,
    I have a C754 with a LCT, LU301
When selecting the LCT tray ,the messgae states " select paper size".
Have checked the setting under system 1 in Service mode.
Upper limit and paper sensors change state correctly.
    Interlock switch is working.
    Transport motor works.
When I fill the tray with paper and close the door , Nothing happens. Tray should raise but it doesnt.
Theory of operation, says, When the door is closed the system checks the state of the upper limit switch and that switch checks good.

Anyone have any suggestions as there is no troubleshooting procedure for what is happening.

What about the bottom sensor. I dont think it bothers to lift if that bottom sensor doesnt report any paper detected

Only time I have had those same symptoms the two wire connector was loose behind back cover. Customer thought LCC pulled opened toward the front and when they pulled cover they pulled connector loose.

Thanks for the advice. It ended up being the set switch
