    [Misc] Bizhub 554e Panel touch not working

    Hi there,
    There is that Bizhub 554e. The touch on the display is not working. Not able to perform any thing. Tried replacing the panel but nothing.
    Any suggestion.

      was it a new panel and did you follow the in box instructions on calibration?

      is the machine operating otherwise, including the hard keys, are you sure its not the machine simply locking up?

          Those instructions will tell you to load firmware before changing the panel. Mine did not work until I re-loaded the firmware. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              The machine started with non functional touch panel after sitting in store for few weeks. The printing is ok as far as an input is required from panel. It did give some symptoms of life very few time on different parts of screen. Replaced the panel from another machine but still no luck.

                  I have had the side buttons freeze up on a couple of machines.
                  Restarting the machines would make it work again. Probably not related.
