Newbe with HDD problems on Bizhub C220

I recently purchased a Bizhub C220, 2012 model from a government auction The hard drive had been
removed as required before they sold it. They told me that it worked fine before the sale.
I am trying to replace the hard drive and am having a bit
of a problem. Here are the things that I have tried and what has happened.

When first starting the machine without the hard I received an error, c-d004
I went into service mode and uninstalled hard drive and the code went away.
Printer and copier seems to work fine.

I have tried installing two different 150gig sata drives and a 500gig sata drive.
I have read in these forums that most any sata drive would work.
I have tried the physical format and logical format on all of them. nothing seems to work.
I can feel the drives spinning but it sits on 0%. I have left this process running for 24 hours.
The code I am getting after a restart with any of these drives is an c-d411. I have tried the drives
with out being formatted, and formatting them in different types. nothing seems to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Install it in a computer and delete the partition(s) then create a single partition but do not format.
Install in copier turn HDD to installed (it pauses for like 15 seconds so don't panic) then you can try just a logical format. If that fails you will have to do a physical format and that takes hours. When physical is done do a logical format and install the movie data if/when it asks.
    Good luck.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

How is long should it take to logical format a 120 gig hard drive?
I have followed your instructions thus far, with the exception that
I had to do a restart after turning on the hard drive in system 2. The
error message I am getting at start up once installed is c-d011. The format
has been sitting on 0% for a while.

Update..... after two hours and no progress on the logical format, still
reads 0%. Restarted unit and tried to do a physical format. Which it would
not even let me start. The button remained blue when pressing. The drive
was put in a computer and made simple partition with no format. I noted
after turning on hard drive and looking at the state of drive it said "unset".
restarted unit and came up with the C-d004. Went and looked at hard drive
state again and it was populated with these numbers:total size 238446M and
vacant area 0M. I couldn't make any thing of these numbers being I had a
150 gig hard drive installed. So I am still at a loss here. Thanks for all the help
and I am still in search of a fix.
