C7000 Disable Tray

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to disable a tray? We have a broken tray and want to disable it rather than having to press help and restart the machine every day.

Software switch 18
Tray 1 bit 0
Tray 2 bit 1
Tray 3 bit 2
Tray 4 (LU) bit 3
Set switch to 0 for usable
set to switch 1 to lock out.

Are you referring to this screen? Also, is there a way to set all these back to factory defaults and do you have a list of what each does? (1-60)

no factory reset afaik, yes thatsw the place to disable the tray.
all the setting for each switch/bit are in the field service manual.
yup your pic shows tray 1 is now out of order

Hi Synthohol.

Don't suppose you could paste those codes here could you? I don't have a service manual and I'm too new here to request one. I need to go through and set all back to default as I think I've changed the wrong ones by mistake.
