Bizhub 185 blank screen and wont start

hellow everyone
i am having trouble with KM bizhub 185. it wont start it eventhough there is power in the machine. when i turn it on only the screen turns on (blank). no sound of engine or any thing just blank screen.

sounds like bad SSD board to me.
that model is not sold here across the great pond so i dont even have access to the knowledgebase to help you further.
maybe try booting with a firmware stick just to see if it does anything different?

It's a control board. Usually got fried through USB port.
New board equals price of new machine.
Check your local prices.

yeah thats right. i removed board and usb is fried. any idea how this happened? customer claims that machine burned 2 of his computers through usb. i am more in that his electric instalation got a problem with grounding or something.

Yeah, customers will always blame the machine, and never look for any other reason other way around.

I had few of this caused by thunderstorm via analog telephon line (copper wire) through router, computer network port, accros usb to control board looking for a shortest way out.

It's not power surge through machine beacase PSU on machine is OK.
He/she was lucky machine didn't die before.
