[Error Code] C-2821 on a old C6501 - what to chase?

    C-2821 - Charging potential correction Vh/Y aborted

    Not sure what to chase....

getting an odd random (well it seems random) where color drops out...
But when I try to test for it, I cant replicate it very well.

Had one code, after replacing corona units (DUE @ 100%).
We use DU-104 which are about at life, but we usually go to 120%, they are only at 95-99%.

Side note, did have a black drum fail early. So i can swap with yellow, but i don't think its the drum.
Yellow DV unit is due (PAST DUE) but does C-2821 have anything to do with DV unit?

when i need to eliminate the DV unit i put tape over the hole, swap it with another color DV unit, tape that hole shut and when you close the door leave the toner door open so it wont add toner. print another test pattern and see if the problem follows the unit or stays with the orig color.
then obviously remove tape and swap back.
    let us know
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

So far so good... Swapped Yellow DV with known good unit, seems to be good - 250 pages in, letting it chooch all night....

Any suggestions on what parts i should stock with so much on the meter? (Belt Unit, Reg Unit, Fuser Units - all are well maintained and replaced as needed....)

Worried about lasers and high voltage items - as i would like to get though the summer with this machine running...
As i have seen new codes in the last 3 months, that have never seen before in the last X years....

Do i jump to a C1070 or Just keep this running until DOA?

            Back with a vengeance..

            That eliminates DV unit/DV...

Since from cold start it doesn't show up right away - does that give any better direction??

same color banding? check the connectors to the transfer belt rollers.
