    [Misc] c3350

    Hello all,
    I have a c3350 where the machine won't detect a new toner cartridge.
    I checked the slides on the drum and new cartridge. Both appear to be opening.
    Did a trouble reset.
    Any other ideas ?

    The used to happed on the previous model, this was a firmware issue.

    But try a another new toner & check the contacts on the IU are not dirty.

      I had 5 units and all have touch penal, image unit and toner faults on first start up. I believe it was some factory errors causing all 5 units to have the same faults.

      I had to replace all image units with new ones, and changed the touch / control penal and also replaced the faulty toners. The touch penal was fixed after replacing the old one, but not the new toner and image units.

      Upgraded firmware and all the toner and image unit errors were resolved.


      Try upgrade firmware, it should fix the problem.
