[Misc] Bizhub c353 prints fading after 20pages

hi,

i seem to be having trouble with a Bizhub c353 where the customer complains that their prints start fading whenever they print 20 or more pages, gradually the prints become lighter ! Small and single prints seems to be printing just fine.

Any suggestions where the cause lies, will be inspecting it in a couple of days.

Start with Transfer roller & belt

Could be the transfer roller pressure that gives way.

Something just came to mind. Check the white gear on the transfer roller. Sometimes the black clip comes off and pin falls off gear. Just spin the gear by hand, if roller don't turn then pin fell out.

Not sure what the 20 pages is all about but I wouldn't put much into that, especially if you are going by what the customer said. You will probably find that to be different once you see the machine yourself.

Does the fading occur with both colour and grey scale?
