how to know if IC-408 system is Ikon or konica

Good afternoon to all the friends.

I'm a minolta technician here in Brazil, but whenever I need to format
Fiery ic-408, I have this dilemma.

I always do one system and, if I make a mistake, I execute another one.

Has some easy way of identifying what the system is, even when it
    FF as an error?

Some say it's by part number, but I'm in doubt if it's the fiery or bios part number ...

And what data source do I search to know which part is the correct one?

    thank you all.

i suppose if you flip the switches and install one or the other system software it will either take or error out.
    thats my guess.

whats written/labeled on the HDD in the Fiery?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

It should have a manufacturer specific serial number.

Konicas usually start with an A.
