[Error Code] Bizhub C360 with error C-C172

Hello,
Getting intermittent c-c172 error.
Image controller setting in system 2 is set to 0 already. The machine was installed with hard drive removed due to security inside customer facility.

Was thinking firmware may resolve issue, but I'm not allowed to bring in usb drive, cf, or laptop inside their facility.

Machine is not networked, and has only 9k clicks.
Any ideas?

put a HDD back in?
ive done military facilities that shared the same concern but once i told them about this they merely asked if they can keep the HDD when lease was up.
also check the NVRAM, that model is old as hell, the battery may be shot.
your choices are change MFPB, NVRAM or installing the HDD.
color machines need the extra memory space, if there is an open ram slot maybe an extra stick may help? UK-203 part#A0YDWY1
either way deferring from the basic config (with HDD) is asking for an error.
its just the wrong old dead discontinued machine for them.

Mode 1	To overwrite 0x00 one time.
Mode 2	Overwrite 0x00 → overwrite 0xff → overwrite 0x61 →validation

Encryption Priority	When the encryption word is set, the security level of the data will be enhanced before writing to HDD. When erasing data, they will all be converted into encryption data before overwritten. Therefore, overwriting will be executed with the value besides the value specified by the selected mode.
Overwrite Priority	Standard encryption method will be applied to data written to HDD even when the encryption word is set, so overwriting and erasing will be performed without fail using the specified value in the selected mode. It is used for performing the overwriting and erasing according to the HDD data erase standard.

Since the machine is not networked they might go for it.
