1. You have the fax installed electronically, but no fax kit installed
2. Fax has been removed, but still electronically installed
3. Fax is installed, Service Mode is set correctly, but wire harness has a bent pin (common)
4. Wire harness is inserted into Fax 2 connection
5. You have FK 514 installed but should be FK 513 (similar in appearance)
6. Dip switch is set to FAX 2 on fax board
If none of these you might just have a bad fax. Emujo
I re read your post after adding this and saw that this is occurring when printing..Does this mean you are using the fax driver? If so then the problem is somewhere else as all of the above would generate a B003 when MFP is powered on, not just during a print job.
