    firm ware on a km bizhub 600

    I am trying to load firmware on a km bizhub 600. I insert the CF card with the firmware on the machine but it does not recognize it. (nothing happens)

      Firmware on these is loaded using a USB drive. Also the machine doesn't automatically update, you have to be in tech rep to update it. I suggest you get hold of a manual and look it up.

          Base firmware must be loaded from a CF card, once base is installed, then you can use USB to upgrade. Instructions are pretty specific on how to copy and paste from the downloaded file, but I have seen cards that are formatted incorrectly, or just damaged unable to work. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and order a new card from KM. Be advised that this is a base file from a working machine and will have the wrong s/n and possible incorrect options to begin with. Emujo

              Not sure on this model but on the Biz 601 I had to install firmware in steps. Couldn't just jump to latest.
