[Misc] Konica C284 latest firmware

Hello Fellow Technicians

This C284 takes too long to process a print job. It sits there and blinks away for ages then only prints part of a job. I would like to install the latest firmware to start with so as to eliminate any compatibility issues. Is there somewhere that I can purchase the firmware from?

Konica(KonicaMinolta) guards their firmware very closely. It will be tough to get. They generally threaten to prosecute anyone using it without their permission and paying for it. Good luck.

Agree with FW update. Just to add on, I had one that would not email. It was at Function Ver. 1 Had to do a 2-step Special FW version update then it emails fine. Something about hash 1 vs. hash 2. I also notice some are very retarded at the control panel... Slow, beeps unresponsive or late. Newer FW fixed that too.

Bugger,.............................. is there any chance that you may know where to acquire this movie data as the machine seems to be O.K. with the new firmware but it now says "No animation guide available". Can this be turned off or does it need the "movie data installed".
