    Trying to connect Konica Minolta bizhub c450 to my computer

    I just bought a new Konica Minolta bizhub c450, since it's not usb, am finding it difficult to connect it to my computer I tink its Ethernet connection which I have no idea on how to connect it. Little help

      The Ethernet port is for connecting the device to a network. Ideally, both your computer and the copier would be connected to the same local network.

      If your computer has an empty Ethernet port you can connect to the printer using a crossover cable. A normal patch cable will (probably) not do. If you're lucky both devices will figure things out. If you're not lucky you'll have some configuration to do. This scenario is to be avoided.

          Unfortunately this older model isn't USB "plug n play". As the other poster stated you will need to configure this to a network with ethernet cable, preferably from copier to router. You may have to get someone that knows networking to help.
