c284 smb v2 update

Just wondering if anyone has updated a C284 range machine, (non E), to enable smb V2.
I have a couple to do next week and it looks to have some pitfalls.
If anyone has any experience of this could you please share your experience.

Yes i've done a couple recently using the version up fw mainly to allow gmail scanning like the 'e' series it's pretty straight forward, just followed the guide.

My only worry is if a colleague follows me in at a later date & tries to update to mass production firmware, sounds like a pain to resolve.
