Fading lead to trail C253

Hi Guys

I have a KMc253 in our workshop, with a strange problem

1st copy or print out of the machine fades from lead edge to trail edge solids loose about 10% on all colours (colors) subsiquent copies are fine leave the machine for 30 minutes then you get the same results.

we have exchanged the print head, transport unit. IU units.
we have fitted the transport belt modifications.

Our Tech support guy is scratching his head?

anyone else had a similar issue and how did you resolve it

Try firmware. Causes weird problems.
