    SOLVED: The Secret Base Door

Recently we had a 364e with a broken base door. This is a swing open base that does not feed paper, it is just for storage. We thought it was a DK-510 base, as this is the only listed storage base. We ordered a new door, part A2XM626102. Didn't fit, see picture attached, door was too tall, and a drawer front, not a swing door. Lots of frustration later..... The part number is A1340. Apparently there is a metal version too, DR14276. I don't know if we have a DK-510, a secret American version of a DK-510, or what, but there is no diagram for it at all. Hope this saves someone a LOT OF FRUSTRATION.

In picture, the wrong part, A2XM626102 is off to the right. The broken door is on the left. Use part number A1340 for replacement.

    Thanks!
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
